Post-doctoral position in cultural/cognitive evolution

The Centre for Early Sapiens Behaviour (SapienCE) – a recently launched interdisciplinary Centre of Excellence at the University of Bergen (Norway) – invites applications from candidates with a background in a cognitive or cultural science for a position as postdoctoral research fellow in cultural and/or cognitive evolution.

The main goal of SapienCE is to unravel where, when, and why early humans started to think and behave the way we do today. The postdoctoral position is part of an interdisciplinary team working on the neurobiological, cognitive, and social processes involved in creating novel ideas, technological innovations, and symbolic behaviour.

The position is for a period of 3 years, application deadline is 1 Oct 2018.
